Imagine! Albert Einstein said, "Logic will get you from A to B, imagination
will take you everywhere." He was right! Imagination is what gives a young girl the ability to be a princess...imagination
is what gives a young boy the ability to be Super Man...imagination is what gives any desiring individual the ability to be
a world-renoun speaking professional. The only limits you have are the ones you put on your self.
Our national president knows this and that is why his theme for the year is,
"Imagine." Thomas Jefferson also said, "The harder I work, the luckier I get." If we are wise enough to add hard
work to our imagination, the sky is the limit.
I am beginning my 2010 to 2012 presidency of the great Alabama Chapter.
I am so very excited about the direction and potential of this group of powerful professionals. I am proud to be listed
in their company.
As with many other chapters, the tough economy presented us with some challenges,
but I learned long ago that challenges only show us who we really are. Challenges give us opportunites to be better
than we were. Challenges do away with complacency. I have grown to have very little fear of challenges, in fact,
I welcome them as I know that they will leave me wiser, stronger and more knowledgable.
I invite you to come join us at the Alabama NSA; we are headed for great things.
I have set a goal of reaching at least 100 members by the end of my first year, which will be August of 2011. I
want to leave a powerful, positive mark on NSA.
Our website will be updated and expanded often. Please send any news items that you
feel would be an addition to our site.
