"If a man does not keep pace with his companions,
perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer.
Let him step to the music which he hears,
however measured or far away."

College Prep Auditions

If you are a high school senior and have a desire to major or minor in music in college, you will need to learn specific audition songs for the university you choose.  Most of them require at least one foreign language piece (Italian) and some of them request a French and/or German piece.  You will need to be a private voice student to work on these during your Junior year if possible.  College auditions usually begin right after Christmas of your Senior year.  It is very possible for you to earn your entire college education with your own talent!  Private Voice Lessons may give you that expertise you need!  Don't underestimate your gift!

With a vocal instructor that understands the limits and potential of young voices, voice lessons can begin early.  A private consultation will determine if your young student is ready to begin private lessons.

My name is Michelle White.  I am 23 years old and have been taking voice lesson from Rita for a year.  I love my lesson with Rita becausee not only do I learn music, but I also learn from her spiritually.  I thank the Lord for bringing me to Rita to teach me music and about the Word of God.  She has been such a blessing to me and my mom.  Thanks, Rita, for always listening.

My name is Donna Williamson.  I am 49 years old and have been taking voice lessons from Rita for a year.  I love my hour of voice.  It has opened up a new world for me.  I love to sing and priase the Lord and He is the reason I sing.  Singing lifts you up when you're down, can lift up others that are going through great trials, birng peace to a troubled mind, usher you into the presence of God, bring great joy to the hearts of people and heal broken people.  Singing to the Lord is the best therapy you can have in these troubled times.  Jesus Christ is the answer to the world's problems.  Thanks, Rita, for accepting me as a student, for believing in me and listening to me and for opening up this wonderful new world of music!

My name is Judy Tarrance and I am 40 years old.  I have been taking voice from Rita for two and a half years.  I love every moment spent with Rita.  Rita, God has blessed you not only with His love and mercy, but also a wonderful gift of music.  I want to thank God for letting me share His wonderful work with you.

Hi!  My name is Ashley Smith.  I am 8 years old and in the second grade.  I hve taken voice for two years from Mrs. Rita and loved every minute of it.  Singing is a big part of my life.  I wake up singing and I go to bed singing.  I even sing in the shower!  I guess you could say I was born with a song in my heart.  I have learned alot from Mrs. Rita and she has given me alot of self-confidence.  My parents and sister are very proud of me and love for me to sing.  My Pop has taught me alot of fun songs he learned as a boy when he lived in South Georgia.  I love all kinds of music.  Thank you, Mrs. Rita, for encouraging me and believing in me!
