The Rya Community Choir is an auditioned adult community choir offering an opportunity to sing classical, sacred and cultural music. This is a great opportunity to use your vocal skills and expertise in a fun, friendly environment. The method of learning the music is quite simple but will require time in private practice. At the beginning of each semester you will be given an audio with your part and your sheet music. Time spent in private practice will ensure when the choir comes together, harmony can be achieved very quickly. Confidence in your music will allow for full vocal commitment. I took my choirs to perform at Carnegie Hall for six years. We will be performing some of the classics presented there as well as holiday and specialty music. It is my desire that the Rya Community Choir will engage in and support powerful community-based activities presenting great choral music. I look forward to a great time! ~Rita
