I am SO excited that you will be joining us in Alabama this year for our
Ms. Alabama Sr. America 2020 Pageant!
This will be your page of complete instruction for all events. There will be several performance
numbers this year for Queens, both at the Welcome Dinner on Friday Night and at the Pageant
on Saturday, June 6.
I will add all new updates on this page.
If I have your email address, I will forward you quick email each time I upload new information
on this page.
If you ANY questions, please ask me. Someone else may be wondering the same thing!
Please fill out the info form (link below) to let me know what Queen Performances
you would like to join!.
All Queens who will be appearing in Military Uniform, please learn the simple motions of the ladies in the video below. You
will be featured in this Patriotic number.
The D-Day Darlings have taken the internet by storm! In 2018 we performed the very song that has made them famous at our
inaugural pageant in Alabama...The White Cliffs of Dover. We will do it again in 2020. I am looking for Queens who served
in the military, and can still wear their military uniforms, to form the outline of the V. We want you to be front and center
to Celebrate your service to America. Also, PLEASE, ALL you ladies who served in the Military, please send me a picture of
you, in uniform, while you were serving. We will scroll them on the big screen during our performance.
All the other Queens will be in evening gowns and be standing inside the V. This year we will also have the giant screen
behind us which will add magnificent power to our song! Above is the video and the actual song we will be singing is at 1:12.
In 2018 we had 26 Queens from 6 different states. In 2020 I would love for us to have 100! Even though the Pageant is
about selecting a new Queen to represent our Great State, the Queens represent the beautiful sisterhood and should be highly
celebrated, which we intend to do!
As you practice with these ladies, you should practice the moves exactly as they do them. You will not mirror them; you
will do them with the same arm motions as they. That can be a little tricky if you are looking straight at them, therefore,
the best way to practice is to set a mirror in front of your computer and practice looking in the mirror, then you will be
doing the correct motions while mirroring the ladies. If this sounds confusing, give me a call and we can talk.

NOTES CONCERNING PARTICIPATION IN THE ALABAMA PAGEANT:
(1) Although I will offer some great opportunities to dance and sing together, have fun, Celebrate our Sisterhood, Celebrate
our service in the Military, Celebrate our accomplishments, it will still be up to each individual lady to do her due diligence
in learning the songs and the dances before she arrives at Pageant. Should any lady arrive at rehearsal in Alabama and it
is obvious she does not know her part, she may have to forfeit her opportunity to perform as there will be no time to learn
it after you arrive in Alabama. This is the 24-year Music Teacher coming out in me! We have 5 months to learn, which is
more than enough time. Let's blow the audience away!!!
(2) The Ms. Senior America Handbook, Page 31, speaks to the State Administrator...
K. No Conflicts of Interest
The Administrator agrees and acknowledges that, during the term of this Agreement, that she will not hold a current title,
or serve as a contestant, volunteer or employee, in any pageant not sanctioned or otherwise approved by National. The administrator
further agrees that no volunteer service, in any capacity, shall be accepted from any person who holds a current title or
is serving as a contestant, volunteer or employee, in any pageant not sanctioned or otherwise approved by National........."
Therefore, in keeping with my requirements as an Administrator for Ms. Senior America, if you are affiliated with any
other pageant system, in any capacity, please let me know. If you are an active participant, or a current title holder, in
any other pageant system, you may not participate in Ms. Alabama Sr. America. If your reign is over by June 5, you may participate.
Additionally, because of the recent series of events in Alabama, if you are currently affiliated, in any capacity, with
Ms. Senior USA, you will not be able to participate, in any capacity, in Ms. Alabama Sr. America 2020.
